Guernsey Post Stamps

Postage stamps for the island of Alderney, showcasing the solar eclipse on 21 August 2017.

The six stamps reveal a geographical spread of coastal locations across the globe.

Thermochromic (heat sensitive) ink was used as a reveal of an un-eclipsed sun (in fluro yellow) and technical details of the solar eclipse for each location.

A full suite of collateral from first day covers to rubber stamps was designed as part of the project.
